Recycling 101- Your Recycling Questions Answered

October 8 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Are you confused about where to throw out empty Pizza Boxes? Do you have anxiety about packaging that’s made of both plastic and cardboard? Do you want to know the secrets that the little numbers on plastic can tell you? If so, you’ll want to attend “Recycling 101: Your Recycling Questions Answered”, a free educational event presented in partnership with the Manchester Community Library on Saturday, October 8th at 11AM at the Manchester Community Library in Manchester, Vermont.

The Manchester Community Library and Bennington County Solid Waste Alliance are partnering to present the event led by the Alliance’s Outreach Program Manager, Paula Kamperman, where area residents will learn proper recycling at curbside and transfer station collection programs and details about other recycling programs available to Vermont Residents. She will be available to answer questions from the audience.

Seating for this free event is limited and participants may register at https://mclvt.org/calendar/. The Manchester Community Library is located at 138 Cemetery Avenue, Manchester, Vermont. The event will be held indoors and wearing masks, while not currently required, is strongly encouraged.
