Paint
Paint is banned from disposal in the trash in Vermont. Vermont’s Paint Stewardship Program provides free recycling for leftover architectural paints, stains, and varnishes through participating PaintCare collection locations.
Accepted products include latex and oil-based paints, primers, stains, sealers, varnishes, and similar architectural coatings. PaintCare does not accept products such as solvents, paint thinners, or other non-PaintCare products.
